Baltimore

I took a quick trip to Baltimore over the weekend, and a few things caught my eye while walking around.

Haystacks

As my husband and I were driving around this weekend, I asked for him to stop to take a photo out the window.  He asked me later if I was inspired by Monet's Haystacks.  Perhaps I was. - P

Snow Run

Today we finally got a chance to go for a morning run in the snow.  The temperature was about 18 F, calm, and sunny when we started out this morning.  A, my husband and I took the opportunity to enjoy the crisp weather and sunny sky.  Since we aren't officially training yet it was more of the chance to get outside and enjoy the weather.  My husband ran ahead but A and I took the 7 miles at a leisurely pace and even stopped to take some pictures along the way.  I think a few people who passed us driving thought it was odd we were out in the cold weather taking pictures of our feet in the snow.  :-)  We did pass a fellow runner as well as some people walking their dogs.  It is nice to see other people out there who appreciate some exercise at any temperature.  - P

The Old Fashion Copy and Paste

I spent some time this weekend making something for a friend's baby shower that is coming up.  This should follow this theme and the colors of the nursery and she loves safaris.  Lions and Giraffes and Zebras and Elephants, oh my! -A

January?

It's hard to believe it is January with all the sunshine and semi-warm days.  I think I could have even gone for a bike ride this weekend, but decided to go out for a run instead.  Since it was so nice out today we took a detour on our way out to get coffee and groceries.   Our detour took us to through a town with a waterfall.  It is hard to tell what month it is with leftover Christmas decorations and the beautiful weather. - P

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! My weekend was spent with family eating, relaxing, and shopping. As part of the relaxing part of the day we watched one of our new favorite movies, "Midnight In Paris". We saw it this summer and I absolutely loved it. I hope you spent some time this weekend relaxing in some way. -P
