The temperatures have been hovering between 0 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit for the past week but there are always beautiful sights to see as well as people venturing outside. Both A and I have been running outdoors and are actually happy to be out breathing in the cold winter air. It always makes me smile when you see other people taking advantage of the outdoors even when it seems most desirable to stay in the warmth and comfort of a cozy home. - P

HK dinner
I thought I would post on a appetizers my husband made recently. There has been much talk about Hong Kong at home, with friends, and in the blog world recently, I thought this would be most appropriate today. The pictures are of his version of the Spanish tapas from a restaurant/bar we've liked for years in Hong Kong and Macau. Only recently has the Hong Kong location decide to move to a new spot. Simple snacks that warm the tummy accompanied by a glass of wine. Potatoes and Chorizo, what could be better? - P

There is Always Evidence
It is winter in NE Ohio. Two days following an almost 60 F day (really, it is always unseasonably something here and this fact will more than likely get mentioned again each season, at least once), the skies were blue. A rarity, but I love it. And the evidence that it is still winter? Icicles on the cliff. Also, it was more than half the temperature today (close to 25ish, not counting the windchill), but it was still beautiful outside. -A
